I prefer sci-fi and fantasy, or anything psychological, metaphysical, or just plain fucked-up. Some of my favorite films are: Split, The Matrix, The Holy Mountain, 12 Monkeys, Fight Club, Brazil, Waking Life, Pan's Labyrinth, Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas, Altered States, Blade Runner, Dagon, The Prestige, The original Star Wars trilogy, The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, Borat, Visitor Q (really anything by Takashi Miike), and the Harry Potter movies (although the books are much better)...

I listen to a LOT of music and a huge variety of styles. The only music that I really don't like (with a few notable exceptions) is most of what is played on the radio. Some of my favorite bands/performers/composers are: Coil, Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, Run Level Zero, E-Craft, Shpongle, Fela Kuti, Panjabi MC, Rasputina, Murder By Death, Tool, Ministry, The Nam Shub Of Enki, Otto Von Schirach, Autechre, Tricky, Bjork, Portishead, Dose One, Crash Worship, Biota, The Residents, Mr. Bungle, Sleep Chamber, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, Voltaire, Orishas, Sun God, Pzychobitch, Pigface, System Of A Down, Nine Inch Nails, Gogol Bordello, The Legendary Pink Dots, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Beethoven, Chopin, Scarlatti, Rage Against The Machine, Clutch, Pink Floyd...

Far too many to name... I read far more non-fiction than fiction, mostly books on the occult, anthropology, archeology, language, philosophy, theoretical physics, psychology, and conspiracy. When I do read fiction, it's mainly sci-fi and fantasy. Some of my favorite authors are: Robert Anton Wilson, Philip K. Dick Aleister Crowley, H.P. Lovecraft, Neil Gaiman, Neil Stephenson, Terrance McKenna, Phil Hine, and Hakim Bey. I own literally thousands of books and have read many multiple times...

I'm, more-or-less, a Chaos Magician. I don't really believe anything, but am open to a huge range of possibilities. I practice sigil magick, ceremonial magick, both traditional and non-traditional Vodou, some Mayan and other shamanistic practices, Slavic paganism, taoism, ancient Egyptian ritual and magick, gnosticism, agnosticism, or whatever else happens to get me off at the moment. I'm opposed to organized religion in general and abhor Scientology, as much, if not more, than the "big 3" Western religions. I spend a lot of time metaprogramming and trying to mold science, magick, and religion into a seamless unity--this is where I differ quite a bit from a lot of other Chaos Magicians. I enjoy fucking with people's heads quite a bit, but I like to think that it's all for a good cause (I feel shock, confusion, horror, and disgust can be some of the best teachers--along with humor, of course--but many never get the joke). I've been described by others as both loud and energetic and totally stable and calm. I tend to either be quiet and detached or exceedingly social and talkative, but never really in a bi-polar sort-of-way. I just tend to allow different aspects of my personality to take control as the need arises. If I have something I need to rant about, then I do so. If, however I have nothing to say, I don't try to make conversation. I'm pretty comfortable both alone and in crowds. I enjoy arguing, and I'm damned good at it, which tends to piss-off really emotional or dogmatic types, but seems to be appreciated by my more level-headed friends. I've been described as extremely helpful and friendly and an excellent host, but I tend to be the exact opposite if I feel a lack of reciprocation or if someone overstays their welcome or oversteps their bounds. Demanding and needy people annoy me. I don't think anyone who's worth anything needs a fucking guru or messiah--if you can't save yourself, you haven't learned a thing. I tend to be optimistic, but realistic. It's not that I don't think anything bad will happen, I just don't feel the need to worry about it...
